William Walker Atkinson

William Walker AtkinsonWilliam Walker Atkinson (1862 – 1932) was an attorney, merchant, publisher, and author. He searched for healing in the late 1880's and found it in New Thought. From mental and physical wreck and financial ruin, through New Thought principles, he wrought perfect health, mental vigor and material prosperity.

Atkinson wrote a great many books on New Thought, which became very popular and influential among New Thought devotees and practitioners and achieved wide circulation.

He is also known to have been the author of the pseudonymous works attributed to Theron Q. Dumont and Yogi Ramacharaka.
