H. Emilie Cady

H. Emilie Cady H. Emilie Cady (1848–1941) was a turn-of the-century homeopathic practitioner, metaphysician, and New Thought author. Her 1896 book Lessons in Truth, A Course of Twelve Lessons in Practical Christianity, is among the most widely read books in the New Thought movement, and has sold over 1.6 million copies since its first publication.

Dr. Cady studied with Emma Curtis Hopkins and was a contemporary of Emmett Fox, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, Ernest Holmes, and other great minds of the early New Thought movement.

Dr. Cady taught that your life could be transformed by the power of your thoughts, words, and beliefs and she encouraged students to find their truth as it was written in their own heart, and apply those truths in every area of their life.
